Johne's Disease

Hybu Cig Cymru - Meat Promotion Wales (HCC) secured funding, from the Rural Development Plan for Wales 2007 - 2013, to provide support to the beef and sheep industry.

As part of this programme HCC offered funding to Welsh pedigree and commercial beef breeders to test their cattle for Johne's disease. This funding has now come to an end, however HCC can still offer funding for BVD testing, for more information on this click here.
